We have everything you need to run exciting themed projects or classroom activity. Our loan kits will provide everything you need to capture and inspire your student's interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
We have worked in consultation with teachers, students and industry partners to ensure that these resources are easy to use and offer great value for money.
Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing
This kit contains engineering components supplied by the BMW Plant at Hams Hall, Coleshill. Some of the components include parts manufactured using modern materials and processes. A set of booklets produced with the help of BMW on aspects of the engine manufacturing process are also included.
Medical Technology
There are two kits of diagnostic and data logging equipment linked to activities on our Medical Technology website. The teachers/ lecturers section of the site requires a User Name and Password. Please request your login details online or tel: 01785 353348.
Metrology
There are three sets of metrology (measurement) equipment and linked activities suitable for schools and colleges. These can be used for Maths and Physics activities, Quality Procedures and Engineering.
SMART and Modern Materials
There are four sets of engineered products supplied from local companies together with materials for pupils and staff to undertake their own investigations. The products all make use of SMART and modern materials and processes. The kits are supported by a set of 10 data sheets that explain wider uses and contexts. A small charge is made for the replacement of materials used.
