STEM in Exciting Contexts
STEM Clubs are a lot of fun!

They allow young people to develop skills of communication, problem-solving and teamwork in an environment that is relevant to many careers. Pupils get to have hands-on experience of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, and to apply skills and concepts taught in the classroom. STEM Clubs allow project-based working which can lead to achieving a CREST Award.
The idea behind a STEM Club is for young people to have fun through challenging inquiry - but not to the point of being off-putting. Staffordshire STEM Centre can advise you on ideas for great activities to attract people to the club and maintain their enthusiasm once they've joined. We can offer curriculum-focussed themes and project ideas to motivate and inspire.
