Join the STEM Ambassadors Programme Today! Volunteer your time, share your expertise, and inspire young people!


Our Ambassadors come from a broad spectrum of careers ranging from industrial chemists to electrical engineers, marine biologists to mathematicians, aeronautical engineering apprentices to medical physicists, and lab technicians to graduates, to name but a few!  Some are even undergraduates representing invaluable role models to aspiring students.

All STEM Ambassadors share qualities of commitment and enthusiasm, along with great passion for what they do.


What can STEM Ambassadors do?

  • Assist with classroom activities and STEM Clubs
  • Bring a "work" dimension to learning
  • Provide an insight into career opportunities
  • Facilitate workplace visits where appropriate

A DBS (formally CRB) check and personal liability cover is provided free of charge to all registered Ambassadors.
