Boost Skills by Running A STEM Club
STEM Clubs are of significant importance in Secondary Education due to the renewed emphasis on Skills shortage and the need to re-balance the economy.
Within Staffordshire, there are over 20 successful STEM Clubs run by secondary schools. Most of them are afterschool clubs offering exciting and motivating activities. Some clubs give emphasis on boosting skills, others target the gifted and talented. A few offer project top-ups while others concentrate on general interest and leisure pursuits.
STEM Clubs are different from normal lessons as students attend on a voluntary basis.
Sorting out activities can be a tall order on top of a normal teaching and learning load ......But we can help!
